Hackbarth Delivery Service, Inc., a leader in logistics and distribution, is searching for a dependable Delivery Driver Helper to join our team. What You’ll Do

• Deliver Knock Your Socks Off (KYSO) service
• Assist with deliveries for both private residences and commercial locations. Deliveries are Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays and may include installations, servicing, pickups, and deliveries.

What You Need

• Previous installations experience is preferred.
• Extraordinary customer service skills.
• Strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the delivery driver in loading and unloading goods from the delivery vehicle.
• Light assembly is required.
• Navigate delivery routes using maps or GPS devices to ensure timely deliveries.
• Help verify the accuracy of delivery orders and ensure that all items are accounted for.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service when interacting with customers during deliveries.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
• Moving and stacking boxes and totes, while performing other tasks as assigned by the warehouse manager.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws while on the road.

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy (up to 50lbs) objects repeatedly throughout the day.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $18.00/hour
• Schedule: Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays
• Start Time: 6:00am. The end time may vary according to the delivery schedule.
