Overview We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our innovative Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) team at Surefire Cyber Inc. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in reshaping the incident response landscape to effectively tackle cyber incidents such as ransomware and data theft. About Surefire Cyber:

The Opportunity : As a Senior Consultant, you will represent Surefire Cyber as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through critical incident response engagements. Your Role : Demonstrate a passion for continuous learning and offer valuable insights while seeking guidance when needed. Engage with clients during incident response engagements, navigating through the complete lifecycle from detection to recovery. Conduct thorough forensic analyses to accurately assess the scope and impact of security incidents. Lead forensic investigations for small to medium engagements, collaborating with senior experts on more complex cases. Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their professional growth. Clearly articulate attack vectors and techniques to inform mitigation strategies. Translate complex findings into understandable reports for both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborate with teams and partners to refine incident response processes and document best practices. Stay updated on the latest tools and techniques in digital forensics and cybersecurity. Assist in developing internal protocols and supporting organizational initiatives. Provide on-call support as required to ensure continuous incident coverage. Your Expertise : Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. Expertise with digital forensic tools such as ELK, Axiom, EnCase, or FTK. Experience with network analysis and intrusion detection systems. Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. Ability to thrive under pressure, managing multiple priorities effectively. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Desire to mentor and expand team knowledge.
