Job description:
Job Summary We are looking for a
Civil Engineer (EIT/Entry-Level)
to join our growing site design team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with land development projects and grow under the mentorship of experienced engineers. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for thoughtful civil-site design and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Responsibilities (with guidance and training):
Assist in preparing site layouts, grading, drainage, and utility plans
Support stormwater management design, erosion control, and roadway/parking layouts
Perform limited code research and interpret data prepared by others
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and utility providers
Contribute to design reports, calculations, and review responses
Use design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D (training provided for advanced tools)
Participate in field visits to support design and construction progress checks
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
EIT (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
Familiarity with AutoCAD; Civil 3D experience a plus
Strong communication and technical writing skills
Interest in learning stormwater, grading, utilities, and land development design
