Summary of Material & Receiving Control Operator Position-Monday-Thursday 5:30 am-4:00 pm
Incoming steel receiving and inspection, material segregation, supplies to needed equipment, Inventory control, and operation assistance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Unload incoming steel shipments and inspect the material to the required specifications Segregate material by substrate and gauge Move material to designated storage areas Supply equipment with required materials Move finished WIP to designated locations Feed raw product/material into the machine Maintain inventory of materials for ERP data Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or equivalent (GED) Forklift driving experience Experience using measuring tools (micrometer, hardness tester, and tape measure) Skills/Abilities
Ability to work with others Working knowledge of basic tools and proper use of tools Knowledge of safety procedures and techniques Basic data entry basic computer skills Ability to utilize measuring tools (micrometer, hardness tester, and tape measure) Knowledge of fabricating
