Restaurant Manager Job at Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton

Overview

WoodfieldBoca Raton is adding to its Food & Beverage management team. We are looking for a Restaurant Manager who will be responsible for exceeding all member and guest expectations. Our candidate will assure the highest standards of service are met, including dining room appearance, hospitality of service staff, and the cleanliness of food and beverage facilities, and will provide supervision and training to staff. The manager will be responsible for supervision and training of staff, developing and implementing programs to increase sales within the restaurants and will implement controls to ensure that budgeted food, labor, supplies and other cost goals are maintained.

Our ideal candidate must have 3-4 years of supervisory/management experience in an upscale, high-volume restaurant, within a country club or hotel, with strong customer service, communication and organizational skills. Must have excellent communication and computer skills, knowledge of JONAS preferred. Candidate must have a flexible schedule, available to work 5-6 days per week, including afternoons, evenings, holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and training to staff; develop and implement programs to increase sales within the restaurant.
• Ensure high standards of service, dining room appearance, hospitality of service staff, and cleanliness of facilities.
• Implement controls to maintain budgeted food, labor, supplies and other cost goals.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of supervisory/management experience in an upscale, high-volume restaurant, preferably within a luxury hotel or country club.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational skills.
• Excellent computer skills; knowledge of JONAS preferred.
• Flexibility to work 5-6 days per week, including afternoons, evenings, holidays and weekends.

• Hospitality degree/management degree or relevant experience.
• JONAS knowledge, preferred.
