Position Summary:

The Director of Interprofessional Education (IPE) provides strategic leadership, direction, and oversight for the planning, execution, and assessment of interprofessional education initiatives within the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences (CPHS) and the School of Medicine (CUSOM). This role ensures the alignment of IPE programming with institutional priorities, accreditation standards, and best practices across all participating Campbell University programs. The Director serves as the primary managerial lead for the IPE Office, managing operations, facilitating cross-disciplinary collaboration, and overseeing all educational, logistical, and communication functions related to IPE.

This position requires a high degree of initiative, judgment, and leadership to drive interprofessional innovation and engagement.

Essential Specific Duties and Responsibilities Lead the strategic development and implementation of interprofessional education initiatives aligned with Campbell University's goals. Advance a culture of interprofessional collaboration, innovation, and mutual respect across disciplines. Functions as the sole staff support dedicated to Interprofessional Education, managing the day-to-day operations and communication that spans multiple colleges and programs Directly interacts with administrators, faculty, and staff in various colleges to execute the Campbell IPE core competencies. Supports the development of engaging IPE student programming for both didactic and experiential curricular requirements for all CPHS programs. Direct the planning, coordination, and execution of high-impact IPE events and educational programming, engaging over 900 faculty, staff, and students annually. Collaborates with Marketing and Communication to advance and maintain CUIPE's presence across various platforms, including the Campbell University website, social media, and various print sources. This includes recurrent editorial writing and reporting of IPE events, programming, and achievements, as well as creating engaging social media posts. Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, students, university leadership, community partners, and campus guests to effectively represent the Office of Interprofessional Education. Manages the IPE budget, procurement processes, and financial tracking with high-level oversight and accountability. Collaborates closely with the Assistant Dean of Interprofessional Education to execute the annual strategic plan of the IPE Office and assess accreditation standards of CPHS and CUSOM programs. Supports the CPHS professional support staff model of working together Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Uphold and abide by Campbell University policies and procedures, including, but not limited to; Title IX, and Information Security including FERPA and other state and federal guidelines Education/Experience:

Master's degree in a health-related discipline, higher education administration, or related field required. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in interprofessional education, academic administration, or health professions education. May be eligible for academic teaching responsibilities based on qualifications and departmental needs. Clinical experience highly preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to communicate effectively to all groups through both oral and written channels Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills Comprehensive computer skills, with the ability to learn and utilize new and emerging technology Knowledgeable regarding Qualtrics, BlackBoard, Canva, and Egnyte Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and standard methods of digital communication, including web/text/chat platforms Proficiency in utilizing/administering social media platforms Demonstrate tact, a positive attitude, courtesy and discretion in dealing with faculty, staff, students, high-level university officials and the public, in addition to alumni, the IPE community at large, programs as individual entities, and the greater University and surrounding community Work independently as well as function effectively in a team and within a diverse group of people Exercise independent and professional judgment in complex, new, and/or stressful situations Manage multiple, concurrent projects, and meet strict deadlines Adaptable, flexible and a willing to work in a changing environment Ability to work occasional evening or weekend hours, and/or occasional travel; including overnight stays This position demands accuracy, honesty, integrity and the ability to work within the Christian mission of Campbell University.
