Inspector, Environmental Compliance

Responsibilities:
Support the Environmental Compliance Group implement stormwater, wastewater, erosion and sediment controls, and other environmental compliance projects for various clients, as needed.
Conduct active construction site stormwater (erosion & sediment control and/or SWPPP) inspections.
Conduct inspections of post-construction stormwater management facilities.
Support wastewater monitoring and other regulatory compliance activities in field and office, as necessary.
Support other Environmental Compliance Group work as assigned.
Maintain effective working relationships with Environmental Compliance Director and other team members.
Walk around active client sites, stooping, standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, sitting for an extended period of time.
Enter, access, and inspect underground stormwater structures following appropriate confined space entry training and certification.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, a natural science, or related field.
At minimum 1-2 years relevant experience.
Familiarity with or willingness to learn erosion and sediment controls and/or stormwater management facilities
Ability to read/interpret plans or willingness to learn
Physical ability to safely and comfortably walk around client sites in an efficient manner
