Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and optimize electrical systems and power distribution networks for critical infrastructure. Integrate advanced technologies, including automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage, to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Implement safety measures, such as arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems. Provide technical expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts for new and existing facilities. Manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and business goals. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet internal and external needs. Mentor junior engineers to foster technical growth and knowledge sharing.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. 4+ years of engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or related industries. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with safety as a top priority. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general PC skills. Experience reviewing arc flash studies and implementing improvements. Knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) License. Project management experience. Experience with PLCs and HMI systems. Proficiency in designing and implementing instrumentation systems (PLC, HMI). Experience in Pre-FEED, FEED, or EPC phases of small to medium facility projects.
