Job Summary
Under the Director of Special Education and the direct supervision of a credentialed Speech Language Pathologist (and following guidelines of the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and state licensure), completes a variety of tasks designed to develop pre-language and language skills, oral-motor control for speech production, vocalization, and use of assistive technology devices for communication; works with students who have identified speech and language disorders in isolation or in combination with other disabilities
