Responsibilities: • Talk with clients to understand their needs and help them make the best decision • Prepare surfaces for painting by filling holes and cracks with putty and sanding • Mix paint or stains to customer’s specification • Build scaffolding when needed • Apply primer or sealers to paint surfaces • Protect trim, floors, fixtures, and furniture from paint using drop cloths and covers • Repair small drywall patches • Maintain a neat and tidy work area Qualifications: • Candidates must be comfortable standing for long periods of time, and have physical strength and dexterity • Strong communication skills, time management skills and attention to detail • We prefer if you have a high school diploma or GED • Driver’s license required • Knowledge of basic painting materials and tools is preferred, but we will provide training •

Must live within 50 miles of Auburn Hills, Michigan, to be considered for this position

• Minimum 1-2 years of professional painting experience (residential and/or commercial preferred) • Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and proper use of brushes, rollers, and sprayers • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools, ladders, and scaffolding • Experience with drywall patching, sanding, caulking, taping, and priming surfaces • Understanding of different paint types and finishes, including interior/exterior applications • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship • Ability to follow job site safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various conditions • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines • Ability to work independently or as part of a team • Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with clients and coworkers • Willingness to work a consistent full-time schedule year-round Compensation: $38,000 - $52,000 yearly
