RR Donnelley & Sons is hiring: Production Assistant (12hr Nights) in Green Bay

Overview

This role supports catching, inserting, and packing finished products, performing quality checks, and assisting with finishing make ready tasks.

Key duties include loading finished products into trays or bins, reviewing final product quality, and following postal guidelines when packing direct mail orders.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product for quality defects and correct errors as they occur
• Pack, band, and/or sort product into batches, packets and pallets
• Count trays on pallets and compare with shipping documents to ensure correct count/weight
• Document progress and issues/resolutions to ensure proper reporting across departments/shifts
• Assist with machine make ready and clean up as needed
• Operate the Segbert
• Follow postal guidelines when packing direct mail orders and completing skid tags
• Other duties as assigned
• Responsible for training and supporting new and existing team members

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs. - continuously
• Ability to exercise basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to read a standard ruler
• Ability to visually identify and inspect detailed product for defects
• Ability to stand for sustained periods of time
• Ability to coordinate hand and foot movements to operate staple machine

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $16.00 - $20.40 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon factors such as education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, the total compensation package may include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
