Job Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, including detailed physical examinations and medical history evaluations Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by accurately interpreting imaging and lab results Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical care plans Provide intraoperative support, from preparing the surgical environment to managing patient positioning and instrumentation hand-offs Ensure exceptional pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program Preferred completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical practice Certifications Required
Current and unrestricted
PA-C
certification Mandatory certifications in
BLS
and
ACLS State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant in California Essential Skills
