What We Are Looking For

Distyl is looking for a Contract Recruiting Coordinator to keep our hiring process running smoothly end to end. In this role, you'll manage interview scheduling, coordinate with recruiters and hiring managers, and make sure every candidate has a professional, seamless experience. Your work will help the team move quickly on critical hires while staying organized and keeping communication clear.

This is a chance to be the engine behind some of our most important hiring initiatives and directly contribute to Distyl's growth. You'll gain hands-on experience in a dynamic startup environment and work closely with our hiring managers and recruiting leads to identify talent, engage candidates, and coordinate interviews end to end.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the full scheduling process for ongoing and one-off hiring needs, ensuring smooth coordination from start to finish.
  • Collaborate on recruiting operations challenges, using data, tools, and teamwork to identify pain points and implement solutions.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for interview planning, coordinating closely with recruiters and hiring managers across multiple teams.
  • Leverage recruiting tools to maintain an efficient, candidate-friendly process with minimal delays.
  • Solve problems on the fly and stay adaptable in a dynamic environment, while always protecting confidentiality and handling sensitive information with care.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with candidates and internal stakeholders - both in writing and verbally - to keep everyone aligned.
  • Partner across organization to deliver an excellent experience for C-suite executives and senior level candidates, helping refine processes along the way.
Qualifications
  • Bring 2+ years of recruiting coordination experience in scheduling, admin support, customer service, or recruiting coordination.
  • Approach every candidate interaction with care, delivering a thoughtful, service-oriented experience.
  • Communicate with clarity and professionalism, both in writing and in conversation.
  • Stay organized and flexible, juggling priorities and adapting quickly as hiring needs shift.
  • Comfortably use modern recruiting tools like Ashby
  • Pay close attention to detail and take initiative to solve problems before they escalate.
  • Work well with others, looking for ways to improve and streamline scheduling and coordination workflows.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion, especially when supporting senior or executive-level hiring.
