Girl Scouts Louisiana East is hiring a Membership Recruitment Specialist to drive membership growth and support volunteers in delivering the Girl Scout mission.

Responsibilities

• Bring in New Members / Retain Existing Members and Keep Them Engaged: Connect with new girls and adults to join while keeping current and past members involved.
• Grow Membership: Use your connections, attend community events, and spread the word to get more people involved.
• Support Volunteers: Build strong relationships with troop leaders, service unit leaders, and community partners to help them succeed.
• Improve Outreach Efforts: Review recruitment results to see what's working and make adjustments as needed.
• Connect with the Community: Partner with schools, community groups, and faith-based organizations to promote Girl Scouts.
• Other: Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Bring

• Associates degree (Bachelor’s preferred) in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in sales, lead generation, marketing, or customer service.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience or ability to learn CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Looker).

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance.
• Willing and able to travel and work within the Council’s regional area and at the DreamLab in Gonzales, LA.
• Overtime or evening, weekend work as needed.
• Membership in Girl Scouts (at hire).

Bonus Points

• Current or former Girl Scout experience.
• Experience with nonprofits, volunteer management, or community outreach.

Additional Information: Successful candidates must pass a criminal background check as part of the pre-employment hiring process. Salary range: $36,600.00 - $42,000.00 annually.
