Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts to support efficient assembly, equipment installation, machining, and material handling operations. This position requires a hands-on engineer with a strong background in manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering, and a passion for continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement manufacturing processes and production layouts for assemblies and equipment.
- Develop and document procedures to improve product performance and production efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and resolve production issues.
- Evaluate and optimize the performance of machinery, tools, and equipment.
- Identify and initiate corrective actions to address inefficiencies and quality concerns.
- Provide technical guidance to engineering teams on design concepts and manufacturing techniques.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and internal quality standards.
- Support the integration of inspection and testing requirements into production plans.
- Contribute to cost estimation and process planning for new and existing products.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Citizenship required (no dual citizenship).
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of industrial experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and / or Six Sigma (Green Belt certification preferred).
- Proficiency with CNC machining and machine shop operations (4–6 years).
- Experience with cost estimation and process optimization (2–4 years).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
