Summary

This role is responsible for developing manufacturing processes that meet customer requirements in a high-precision contract machining environment. The position requires strong CNC process engineering expertise to ensure cost-effective, compliant, and efficient production of tight-tolerance components.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing methods, tooling strategies, and documented processes for CNC machining.

• Provide CAD support for CAM programming activities.

• Optimize set-up processes to reduce cycle times and improve efficiency.

• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues while driving continuous improvement.

• Generate process documentation including drawings, process sheets, and travelers.

• Evaluate existing processes to eliminate inefficiencies and non-conformances.

• Collaborate with supervisors and production staff to support smooth operations.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.

• Strong background in CNC machining and metalworking processes.

• Proficient in GD&T and interpreting mechanical drawings/specifications.

• Skilled in fixturing concepts, tolerance stack-ups, and process control.

• Familiar with in-process inspection and precision measuring devices.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

• Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.
