Manufacturing Process Optimization

• Develop and document new product routings with detailed machining steps.
• Continuously improve and correct processes to enhance throughput and reduce waste.
• Partner with engineering on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and support new tooling/fixture initiatives.
• Eliminate production bottlenecks using proven methods like Theory of Constraints (TOC).

CNC Programming & Machining

• Build mastery in CNC programming.
• Act as the go-to technical resource for CNC machinists.
• Train across all CNC/manual machines to improve programming and operational agility.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead weekly team huddles to align priorities and performance.
• Coordinate with scheduling and expedite teams to maintain production flow.

Quoting & Order Management

• Generate accurate production quotes using the Variable Costing Tool (VCT).
• Review Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and ensure smooth transitions in work orders.

Capital Equipment & Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to the CapEx planning process.
• Drive ROI-focused initiatives by applying best practices in equipment usage and process improvements.

What You Bring

Education & Knowledge:

• High school diploma or vocational degree in manufacturing or a related field.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and blueprint reading.
• Familiarity with G-code and M-code is a plus.

Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in a machining environment with CNC programming expertise.
• Proficient in using precision measurement tools and interpreting technical drawings.
• Effective communicator with strong time management and adaptability skills.
• Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and solutions-driven.
