Overview

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician. Engage in moderate to complex assembly functions using mechanical skills along with a variety of hand tools and assembly fixtures. You will produce and inspect assemblies to ensure they conform to product specifications. A complete understanding of the Quality System and GMP is essential, along with thorough documentation of all assembly and test processes performed.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate to complex assembly tasks using mechanical skills.
• Utilize hand tools and assembly fixtures to produce assemblies.
• Inspect assemblies to ensure they meet product specifications.
• Adhere to established Quality System and GMP standards.
• Document all assembly and test processes accurately.

Essential Skills

• Experience in electro-mechanical assembly and prototype assembly.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with test engineering and document control.
• Experience with medical devices and quality management systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in engineering, R&D, mechanical, and electrical schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1-4 years of experience in the assembly of electromechanical or electro-pneumatical systems, or equivalent experience in a medical device or aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings and follow assembly instructions.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications including MS Word and MS Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain an orderly work cell.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with overtime as needed. You will work on the production/manufacturing floor of a company that focuses on designing and developing innovative respiratory products. The company has been in business for 8 years, employing 150 people, with 50 in manufacturing and 35 technicians. The production area includes 3 production lines with several stations where employees are cross-trained, each equipped with a touch screen. The company culture is collaborative and family-oriented, providing a long-term opportunity with direct hire potential.

This is a Permanent position based out of Santa Ana, California.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47,840.00 - $54,080.00/yr.

3% Annual Bonus (base salary) Personal and Company Performance
