Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design and develop manufacturing processes with a focus on aftermarket production. The role involves creating new processes or modifying existing ones to address specific challenges in this area. You will play a crucial role in ensuring economical production, repair, and overhaul through close collaboration with MRO plant and production departments.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop manufacturing processes for products, focusing on aftermarket production.
- Develop procedures for economical production, repair, and overhaul.
- Collaborate closely with MRO plant and production departments.
- Conduct tests and measurements during various stages of production.
- Monitor and control applicable variables to ensure process stability and product quality.
- Service, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with existing production processes or equipment.
- Address problems related to electrical, hydraulic, electronic controls, and software systems.
- Troubleshoot and maintain testing equipment, including electrical systems, hydraulic systems, electronic controls, and software-based systems.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering for ABET accredited university.
- 1+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining testing equipment.
- Process improvement skills.
- Testing experience.
- Proficiency in CAD modeling.
- Experience with electrical, hydraulic, electronic controls, and software systems.
- Familiarity with AS9100 standards.
Work Environment
The role involves working in a collaborative environment where you will engage with various departments to enhance production efficiency. The position requires interaction with advanced technologies, including electrical systems, hydraulic systems, electronic controls, and software-based systems. The work setting is dynamic, with an emphasis on quality control and process improvement.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.50 - $36.50 / hr.
