ExecuSource has partnered with a nationally recognized Orthopedic Sports Medicine group and we are assisting them on a search for a Bilingual Medical Assistant at their office in Vancouver, WA. This is a direct-hire/permanent position and the Hiring Manager is actively setting up interviews!
Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms. Record patients' medical history, vitals, or information such as test results in medical records. Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician. Explain treatment procedures, medications, or physicians' instructions to patients. Inventory of medical supplies and equipment. Perform administrative/clerical work May operate x-ray or other equipment to administer routine diagnostic testing Cleans and sterilize medical equipment Prepare all pre-screening for procedures and surgical consults Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required; Medical Assistant Certification or Registered Medical Assistant strongly preferred 2+ years of back office experience preferred Excellent interpersonal skills Bilingual (Spanish/English) required Must be detail-oriented and highly organized Strong knowledge and understanding of electronic medical record systems Knowledge of diagnostic testing equipment and sterilization equipment Knowledge of patient care and examination procedures Pay: $20-$23/hr Hours: Monday-Friday, 9a-5p
