Hiring a Custodian/Facilities Maintenance Specialist
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our facility. This role plays a critical part in supporting daily operations and may also assist with shipping, receiving, and general labor tasks as needed.
Pay: $18-$20/hour
Shift: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize production areas, offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.

Mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces throughout the facility.

Maintain cleanliness of warehouse floors, equipment exteriors, and loading docks.

Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal.

Restock restroom and breakroom supplies.
-
Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and industrial vacuums.

Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including unloading trucks, moving inventory, and organizing materials.

Support general labor activities such as assembling equipment, relocating supplies, or helping with facility setups.

Participate in seasonal property maintenance, such as snow removal and landscaping.

Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure a smooth workflow.
Essential Skills
-
Experience in cleaning, janitorial, housekeeping, mopping, sweeping, custodial, and environmental service tasks.

Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and industrial vacuums.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.

Ability to follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment effectively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in shipping, receiving, and general labor activities is a plus.

Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and support operational goals.

Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
Work Environment
The work environment is an industrial facility with exposure to active machinery, forklifts, and warehouse operations. The role requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the day. Non-temperature controlled setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
