Facilities Custodian role at Snowshoe Mountain

Seasonal position. Work location: 10 Snowshoe Drive, Snowshoe, WV 26209.

Housing: Affordable on-mountain employee housing available for rent. Pay: $15 per hour. Start Date: The end of November and beginning of December with positions available throughout the season. Schedule: May require working early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Responsibilities

• Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces in offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Trash Removal: Collect and dispose of trash and recycling materials.
• Maintenance Support: Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaks, and reporting larger maintenance issues.
• Inventory Management: Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning products and toiletries.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in custodial or janitorial services preferred.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Direct Experience

Education: Basic math, reading and language skills
