The Musco Facilities team has an opening for a Custodian at our Oskaloosa office. The purpose of this position is to maintain a clean, professional appearance of all company office space. To ensure a safe and clean environment for all team members to work in and to be responsible for the inventory and ordering of beverages. If your experience aligns with the qualifications outlined below, we look forward to hearing from you!

GED or High School Diploma required

One year of previous custodial experience preferred

Basic knowledge of cleaning requirements

Ability to prioritize and complete multiple duties

Must be self-directed and able to work independently

Able to communicate well with others team members

Basic computer knowledge a plus, excel a plus

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Innovative problem-solving with a team-oriented mindset

Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory and order beverage supplies on a weekly basis
• Service and restock breakrooms, bathrooms, and supply rooms across campus
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain Musco locations including apartments by disinfecting surfaces, removing trash, replenishing supplies, and keeping spaces orderly and presentable
• Travel between assigned buildings as needed to complete daily tasks
• Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs to the Facilities team, maintain all cleaning equipment as needed to ensure proper performance
• Other duties as assigned
