Responsibilities

• This person is to load and unload product using a forklift into various types of trucks and trailers.
• Fill out any paperwork, check in or out shipments, perform inventory on a monthly basis, calculate and pull case goods.
• Perform forklift inspections daily, work in a safe manner, and complete any other duties assigned by management and/or team leaders.
• Read the bill of ladings and load logs; load the proper product into the vehicles.
• Utilize a forklift for daily operations.
• Fill out all paperwork correctly (matching purchase orders, receiving, and placing these papers in proper boxes).
• Place all safety devices (wheel chocks, safety chains, loading plates, etc.) on the trailers that they are working on.
• Maintain a professional work attitude with truck drivers and office personnel.
• Keep yard clean and organized; drive safely at all times.
• Perform any other duties assigned.

• Must be able to use time wisely.
• Must be able to communicate well both written and verbal.
• Must be safe in all aspects of duties.
• Must be a team player.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience in field a plus.
• Computer knowledge a plus.

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Knowledge of forklift operations.
