About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled

UI Engineer

with deep expertise in building modern, performant, and maintainable single-page applications (SPAs). You'll work in a TypeScript-heavy environment, collaborating with project managers, business users, and backend engineers to deliver elegant user interfaces that power our platform. (This role will be contract or temp with ability for permanent hire for the right fit, this could be permanent FT hire right off the bat for the right candidate)

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain React-based SPAs using TypeScript. Translate complex UI/UX wireframes into pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible web experiences. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following modern best practices. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of UI with APIs and backend services. Optimize applications forperformance, scalability, and accessibility. Contribute to design systems, reusable components, and documentation to improve development velocity. Stay current with evolving frontend technologies, frameworks, and tooling. Requirements

Required Qualifications

6+ years

of professional experience as a Frontend/UI Engineer (or similar role). Expert proficiency in:

TypeScript React (including hooks and context APIs) HTML5 & CSS3 (semantic markup, responsive layouts, accessibility best practices)

Deep experience with at least one modern CSS framework or library ( MUI, TailwindCSS, or similar ). Strong understanding of modern SPA architecture, state management, and performance optimization. Familiarity with build tools such as Vite, Webpack, or similar. Solid grasp of

testing frameworks

(Jest, React Testing Library, or equivalent). Proven experience implementing secure authentication and authorization flows using frameworks such as Auth0 or similar identity management solutions. Preferred Qualifications

Experience contributing todesign systemsor component libraries. Knowledge of CICD pipelines, GitHub Actions, or similar DevOps workflows. Exposure to backend APIs (REST/GraphQL) and BFF patterns. Experience working in a fast-paced product or SaaS environment.
