Your Playbook – Part-Time Sports Programmer
As a Part-Time Sports Programmer, you’ll help bring our kids’ sports and activity programs to life. You’ll oversee a variety of fall leagues and classes—including basketball, soccer, dance, and gymnastics—making sure each program is fun, well-organized, and safe.
You’ll work with coaches and instructors, help coordinate schedules, manage registrations, and be a friendly, visible presence for families. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves working with kids, thrives on variety, and can jump into different activities as needed.
Time Commitment: 1–3 hours per week, flexible on days.
Your Role on the Team
- Lead engaging and skill-appropriate coaching sessions in soccer, basketball, dance, and gymnastics for children and/or youth, fostering both physical development and teamwork.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the needs and abilities of participants, ensuring progression in each discipline while maintaining a fun, inclusive environment.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants by maintaining a high standard of supervision, enforcing safety protocols, and properly setting up and storing equipment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and participants, providing feedback and updates on progress, schedules, and upcoming events or performances.
- Demonstrate leadership, enthusiasm, and professionalism while serving as a positive role model, encouraging sportsmanship, discipline, and confidence across all coached activities.
