The Opportunity: As a DevOps engineer, you know how to set up cloud environments and provision computer networking, storage, and virtual networks-ultimately, how to "harness the cloud." We're looking for an experienced DevOps infrastructure engineer like you to support our clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures and meet their most challenging missions. As a DevOps infrastructure engineer at Booz Allen, you'll work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions. You'll apply your skills within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks and use cloud service providers to further your clients' meaningful missions. We are seeking aSenior Engineerto lead the design and implementation of areusable, enterprise-scale GitHub enablement framework. This role will focus on creatingsecure-by-default GitHub organizationsthat are templated, automatically configured, and fully equipped for modern, compliant, and scalable software development and delivery. You will architect the patterns, templates, and automation that empower teams across the enterprise to start projects quickly while meeting the highest standards forsecurity, compliance, and delivery excellence-without sacrificing developer velocity. Join us. The world can't wait. You Have: 7+ years of experience with software engineering, DevSecOps, or platform engineering

Experience withGitHub Enterpriseadministration at scale

Experience with GitHub Actions, reusable workflows, and pipeline security controls

Experience with programming languages such as Python or Go for automation and tooling

Experience with IaC tools and API-driven configuration management

Experience with SBOM standards and artifact signing

Knowledge of secure software supply chain principles,SLSA,SSDF, andNIST 800-218

Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have: Experience in a large, regulated environment, such as the DoD

Experience with multi-org governance, cross-repo code reuse, and enterprise-scale GitHub migration or modernization

Experience with container security, policy-as-code, and compliance automation tooling

Knowledge of OpenSSF best practices and secure software maturity models

Possession of strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence engineering and leadership stakeholders

Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
