Youth Sports Instructors Needed for Preschool and Elementary Age Children. Soccer Shots is an engaging children's soccer program with an emphasis on character development. Our caring team positively impacts children's lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, curriculum and communication. We coach at more than 150 locations around Northern and Central Florida with more than 10,000 children enrolled annually.

A Coach Needs

  • Passion for early education and positively impacting youth
  • Reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License
  • High School Diploma
  • Eligible to work in the U.S., to include passing a Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check
  • Must be 18 in accordance with Florida statutes to pass a DCF Level 2 background Check

Coaching Hours

Monday through Friday 8:30am-6:00pm

Saturdays 8:30am-12:00pm

A Day in the Life of a Coach

  • Safely manage a class of up to 16 children
  • Implement our curriculum which focuses on skill and character development
  • Arrive on time to locations and provide a positive customer experience to faculty and families
  • Maintain equipment and manage class rosters
  • Go home knowing you made a difference

Compensation: $20-28 per hour (Part Time)

  1. We put every Soccer Shots coach through a comprehensive training program to receive certification that includes developmentally appropriate coaching techniques.
  2. Our coaches are routinely evaluated and undergo ongoing training.
  3. Our coach selection process evaluates the ability to coach soccer and, more importantly, the ability to engage and inspire children.
  4. If you have experience coaching another sport (e.g., basketball, baseball, multi-sport), bring that experience to our team and we will help you carry on improving your coaching techniques.

Our families experience exceptional customer service and ongoing communication.

  1. Team members must be excellent communicators – with children, parents, partners and each other.
  2. Timely, responsive communication is essential.
  3. Experience in early childhood education is helpful, such as preschool or elementary teaching.

We use expert-approved curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.

  1. Our developmentally appropriate curriculum emphasizes character development and skill-building in an early childhood environment, such as a preschool, daycare or child care facility.
  2. The program is developed under the guidance of childhood education specialists, professional soccer players and experienced licensed coaches.
  3. We continuously update our curriculum to stay current with standards.
