Job Description
The Department of Surgery, Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery is seeking outstanding candidates for a clinical faculty position specializing in cardiac surgery. Promoted ranks higher than Assistant Professor are negotiable and contingent upon qualifications. The opportunity exists to quickly build a robust surgical practice.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: MD or DO Degree form an accredited institution. US Board Certified or US Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery. Fellowship trained in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
Candidates will be evaluated on: The ideal candidate will have a commitment to patient-centered care and a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams. A strong commitment to patient care, teaching and scholarly activity is essential. Additional interest in establishing a growing community practice and developing a collegial referral network for the University of Missouri will be important.
