IntePros is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Manager to oversee Central Processing Department (CPD) operations at our Philadelphia-based client's campus and Services and Logistics Center (SLC). This role is responsible for managing staff, ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulations, and supporting all aspects of reprocessing reusable medical supplies and instrumentation. This person will collaborate closely with clinical teams to improve workflows, reduce variation, and enhance the experience of both patients and clinicians.

Responsibilities:

Manage daily CPD operations, including staff scheduling, assignments, and workflow oversight. Ensure timely and effective responses to urgent instrument, supply, and equipment requests. Recruit, interview, hire, and manage performance of CPD staff in line with HR policies. Coordinate training, orientation, and continuing education for new and existing staff. Partner with surgical services leadership to ensure CPD operations meet or exceed expectations. Maintain professional communication across all teams and departments. Balance multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines, problem-solve effectively, and build cross-functional relationships. Lead initiatives to improve CPD processes and outcomes. Assist in implementing policies, procedures, and metrics that align with organizational goals. Oversee equipment repairs, replacements, and loaner transactions. Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment. Ensure proper care and handling of instrumentation, equipment, and supplies. Serve as a resource for operating room staff regarding sterilization and decontamination practices. Demonstrate working knowledge of all sterilization and high-level disinfection equipment. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED. Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) with HSPA. Minimum 5 years of sterile processing technician experience. Minimum 5 years of experience with sterile processing functions and surgical instrumentation management. Proficiency with instrument tracking systems (e.g., Microsystems, SPM, or equivalent). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to thrive in a Labor Management Partnership environment. Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred: Associate's degree. At least 2 years of sterile processing leadership experience or formal leadership training. Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) credential from IAHCSMM. #LI-JS2
