Total Health Dentistry in Fort Myers, FL is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team!

Fully employed, 1 Doctor practice and we are adding a Hygienist to assist with our growing patient base. Dr Joseph is a mentor who cares about the team and provides high-quality dental care for patients.

Full Time: Mon–Thu 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, occasional Fridays 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM with huddles 30 minutes prior to start. Address: 5781 Lee Blvd Suite 103, Fort Myers, FL 33971.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in FL and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• 1+ years of clinical experience
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs
• Clinical needs as required by the office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
• Availability to attend virtual or in-person training periodically
• TB test is required for all new dental office positions and will be arranged during pre-employment; not applicable in FL & TN
