Corrections Corporation of America is hiring: Dental Hygienist in La Cañada Flin

The Dental Hygienist will deliver dental hygiene services and implement dental health education programs for inmates/residents at correctional facilities.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform scaling, cleaning, and polishing of teeth.
2. Provide treatment to gums and tissues surrounding teeth.
3. Develop and conduct dental health education programs and instruct inmates/residents in preventive dental techniques.
4. Take and develop dental x-rays as directed.
5. Take impressions for study casts.
6. Spend at least 75% of time performing duties involving direct contact with inmates/residents.

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed and/or certified as a dental hygienist in the state of employment.
