Job Summary:

Mechanical & Plumbing Engineer will lead the design of mechanical and plumbing systems for new construction, renovations, and additions. Provide technical guidance on construction documents, system studies, and master planning. Collaborate with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to resolve mechanical issues. Projects span K-12, higher education, healthcare, commercial, municipal, and institutional sectors.

In this role, you will: Design HVAC and plumbing systems based on project scope and client RFPs across various markets. Perform load/energy calculations using tools like Trace 700 or IES. Conduct building surveys and develop system design calculations and equipment selections. Prepare specifications, design documents, reports, and ensure code compliance. Coordinate with other disciplines and provide construction administration and QA/QC. Lead project teams, mentor junior engineers, and serve as client liaison. Support business development through client engagement and proposal participation. You will be a great fit if:

You have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering You possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license You have a minimum 5 years design experience You have knowledge in the design of HVAC & plumbing systems You have knowledge and understanding of codes, standards, and design guidelines You have an excellent work ethic and attitude Skills/abilities:

Good communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work Ability to lead a team and work as a team Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and MS Office Ability to travel Location : Greenville, SC

Travel : Yes, local and regional, 10%
