Buyer
to lead strategic purchasing initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and optimize supply chain operations for high-impact manufacturing programs.
In this senior-level role, you'll be responsible for sourcing critical materials-such as stainless steel, aluminum, and castings-while ensuring compliance with ITAR regulations and maintaining alignment with category sourcing strategies. Your expertise in ERP systems and hands-on experience in a shop environment will be essential as you navigate complex procurement challenges and drive cost-saving opportunities.
You'll collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and leadership to ensure timely delivery of materials and components. From negotiating supplier agreements to mentoring junior buyers, your contributions will directly influence operational efficiency and product excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day supplier communications and resolve delivery issues
Develop and execute strategic procurement plans
Analyze cost structures and identify savings opportunities
Maintain optimal inventory levels and improve forecasting methods
Support corporate sourcing initiatives and cost reduction projects
Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and ethical sourcing practices
Mentor junior purchasing team members and contribute to organizational growth
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years in procurement, logistics, or inventory management
Strong supervisory and negotiation skills
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Professional certifications (APICS, ASCM) preferred

Pay Details:
$40.00 to $46.00 per hour
