Position

We have an opportunity for a Pediatric Registered Nurse in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). This position is full-time, 36 hours, with Day/Night Rotation and every other weekend.

This position qualifies for Shriners Children's Nursing School Loan Forgiveness Program.

Responsibilities

• Assesses comprehensive data including physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual needs and interprets assessment information to derive the diagnosis.
• Involves patient, family and health care team members in formulating a culturally appropriate individualized plan of care and identifies expected outcomes based on nursing assessment and diagnosis.
• Implements the plan of care in partnership with the patient, family and health care team members.
• Utilizes teaching strategies appropriate to the individual patient's condition and learning needs.
• Evaluates the patient/family's understanding of and response to the plan of care.

Requirements

BSN with pediatric, Acute/Critical Care experience required; current CPR certification required. RN in state of practice.
