Job Title: Water/Wastewater Engineer - Industrial Job Duration: Temp-to-Hire (after a min. of 520 hrs worked) if the work is awarded. Est. Pay Range: $65.00 - $75.00 (USD) Hourly Work Type: On Site

Overview/ Responsibilities: Water/Wastewater Engineer - Industrial

Completes a wide variety of difficult engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses to industrial water/wastewater systems in a semi-conductor manufacturing environment. The Engineer at this level is a fully qualified professional, proficient in the utilization of most engineering theories and practices. Some assignments involve CAE (computer aided engineering)/CAD (computer aided design) applications.

Specific Responsibilities Engineering support and oversight of design, construction, and commissioning of Wastewater systems including: • Review of Design drawings and specifications for completeness and accuracy • Review of equipment configuration and distribution routing of systems in NavisWorks 3D model relative to functionality, egress, ease of maintenance requirements, constructability, alignment with P&ID's, etc. • Validation of engineering calculations • Review and approval of equipment and component submittals in coordination with O&M staff • Review and validation of construction RFI responses • Review and approval of shop drawings and construction models • May act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on process engineering related matters. • Field engineering QA during construction • Commissioning support • Entry of system information into a capacity planning software

Skills and Competencies • Working knowledge of various water and wastewater processes such as: headworks, membrane bioreactors, Ozone, reverse osmosis, UV, Ozone and other advance water treatment, primary clarifiers, aeration basins, secondary clarifiers, disinfection processes, anaerobic digestion, co-generation from bio-gas, reverse osmosis, membrane bioreactors, solids dewatering and other membrane processes • Effective analytical and critical thinking skills • Knowledge and applications of industry codes and standards. • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team of engineers and designers. Takes ownership and drives success of designated areas of responsibility • Good organizational and communication skills. Expresses ideas concisely and clearly in English, both orally and in writing. • Accepts responsibility for own actions and honors commitments. • Ability to travel for business or relocate to supplier, client, or construction site location. • Proficient in using office personal computers, office networks, the Microsoft Office software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), AutoCAD (or CAD file reader) and/or Revit, BioWIN, PipeFlo, and Visual Hydraulics software.

Education and Typical Experience: • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering • 8+ years of related work experience • Engineers in Training-EIT Certification is preferred • Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred • Large Project greenfield design/construction experience • Wastewater reclamation and treatment system design experience • Solvent and other liquid waste collection experience • Gravity and pumped drain piping design experience • Semiconductor experience preferred
