CURRENT ACTIVE SUBSTITUTES ONLY NEED TO RE-CORI,
contact Human Resources, humanresources@falmouth.k12.ma.us, to make arrangements.
Assist in providing daily safe transportation of students to and from programs within the town and to other out of district locations.
QUALIFICATIONS : Ability to relate well with the public Experience working with Special Needs children preferred Sign language skills preferred CPR and first aid training required Bus Driver Substitutes
CDL and medical exam required,
Van Drivers Substitutes
7D license and medical exam required Bus Aides
(opportunity to secure 7D license available) Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may deem appropriate and acceptable RESPONSIBILITIES :
Assist the bus/van operator in transporting a small number of handicapped children to and from school Responsible for seeing that pupils are placed on the bus/van safely, are properly seated, and seat belts and/or harnesses are applied Serve as a comforting influence during occasional emotional or physical outbursts Aid students off/on the bus/van assisting them into the school or to their homes Maintain order on the vehicle at all times
REPORTS TO : Transportation Director
SALARY:
$18.00 per hour
