Night Shift CNC Machinist role at Machine Specialties, Inc. Our company is located in Whitsett, NC, about 8 miles outside of Greensboro, NC.

Compensation

Night Shift Premium - 15%

Work Schedule

Schedule: Monday–Thursday 5:00 PM–5:00 AM

Responsibilities

• This position will report to the Manager of the appropriate department.


• Duties could include: Set-up, Operation, and Maintenance of CNC machines.


• G & M code fluency and ability to edit program


• High level of blueprint reading required


• Proficiency with conversational controls is a plus


• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills


• Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity


• Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude


• Interested in learning with, and from, engineering, and programming team to improve operations


• Working to machine dimensions and maintain close tolerances and correlated dimensions


• Setting and loading all tools in conjunction with set-up instructions to complete assigned jobs


• Communicate with all levels of company employees / customers while presenting yourself as a positive representative of the company.


• Maintain a professional attitude at all times.

Qualifications

• 1+ Years CNC Machining Experience in a Job Shop, preferred


• Detail oriented with proven analytical skills.


• Ability to troubleshoot / problem solve.


• Meet deadlines while working under minimal supervision.


• Experience using 5 axis CNC Machines, preferred.


• Able to lift up to 30lbs


• Ability to stand for up to 10hrs daily


• Knowledge and use of hand tools


• Ability to work 45+ hours per week
