Position: Registered Nurse - Mission Coordination Center (0.6 FTE, Night Shift, 12-hour shifts, alternating weekends)

Overview
"The Registered Nurse of Mission Coordination Center" is an opportunity for those seeking a meaningful nursing career. This position provides safe and effective access to care, integrates community and systems resources, and determines appropriate levels of patient care. As an RN at MultiCare you will be a role model and clinical resource within your practice setting and across the continuum of care.

Responsibilities

  • Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
  • Use critical thinking to make decisions regarding patient care, integrating relevant standards, resources, and data.
  • Deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction.
  • Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and health care team members.
  • Advocate for ethical and holistic care that respects the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent education completed within five years; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in lieu of an education requirement.
  • Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred.
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
  • Current BLS Certification required; ACLS preferred.
  • Three years of recent triage experience or experience prioritizing competing clinical priorities.
  • Three years of nursing at charge nurse or hospital supervisor level in an acute care hospital preferred.
  • Experience with inpatient staffing, hospital supervision, bed management and/or throughput strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Epic strongly preferred.

Pay and Benefits

We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, retirement benefits, and paid time off. Pay range: $54.17 - $88.37 USD, with variation based on skill, experience, certifications, and education. If applicable, union contract steps may apply.
