Ohly Americas is now offering up to $2,500 Sign on Bonus for a Production Technician/Operator for our team in Boyceville Wisconsin USA.

The Production Technicians/Operators are responsible for safe and efficient operation of equipment and systems to produce Specialty Powders and Yeast Extracts. This includes Spray Dryers, Evaporators, Dry and Liquid blenders, Packaging, Separators/Centrifuges, and CIP systems. Operators perform a critical role at Ohly. Attention to detail, organization, and the ability to quickly identify and resolve problems within a team are key.

Essential Skills & Knowledge:

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate equipment and systems to produce Specialty Powders and Yeast Extracts (e.g., Spray Dryers, Evaporators, Dry and Liquid blenders, Packaging, Separators/Centrifuges, CIP systems).
• Maintain attention to detail, work in an organized manner, and quickly identify and resolve problems within a team.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and organized
• Self-motivated to complete work as part of a team
• High School or equivalent education
• Troubleshooting to figure out causes of problems and errors and resolve them
• Oral and written communication skills
• Able to maintain certification to operate a forklift
• Frequently lift and/or move 50 lbs.
• Frequently required to stand, climb, sit, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Hands-on mechanical skills a plus
• Computer skills desired, but not required
• Experience with HMI or SCADA control systems is a plus

Hours & Wages

• Starting wages: $24.32/hour - $27.50/hour
• $0.50/hour night shift differential
• Up to an additional $1.50 per hour when working outside of your regular position
• 12-hour shifts consisting of 3 days one week and 4 days the next
• 3-day weekend every other weekend
• 8 hours of built-in overtime pay in a 2-week period
