The Courtyard Residence Inn Poplar Creek Complex opened in November 2024. We are currently looking for our next great team member to join our management team and lead our Housekeeping Department for the complex. We are committed to providing you with:

Responsibilities

  • As the Director of Housekeeping, you will hire and lead the Housekeeping staff to ensure excellent quality of service to our guests. You will provide clear direction in assigning and instructing housekeeping and laundry staff, plan and organize staff activities, and monitor work to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards. This includes continuous visual inspection of guest rooms and public spaces such as restaurants, lounges, meeting rooms, etc.
  • Manage finances of housekeeping and laundry operations including budget and inventory controls. Analyze data and compile reports on expenditures, wages, labor, supplies, and related items in relation to hotel financial forecasts and budget. Establish and maintain adequate supplies for efficient operation and adjust staffing to guarantee maximum production and guest satisfaction with minimum outlay of expenses.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of prior experience in a similar position at a hotel
  • Marriott brand and opening experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high cleanliness and service standards
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
