Manufacturing Engineer III (CA) – Secret Clearance
6-12+ months contract position
Position Overview: As a Manufacturing Engineer in the Defense and Aerospace industry, your primary responsibility will be to develop and improve manufacturing processes and systems to ensure the efficient and cost-effective production of defense and aerospace products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, production personnel, and quality assurance, to optimize manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality, reliable, and technologically advanced products for defense and aerospace applications.
Note:
Experience with Micro-electronics, especially RF (radio frequency) Electronics manufacturing/assembly, is highly desirable.
Qualifications and Skills: *5-7 years of relatable experience. *Needs Secret Clearance to start. *Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees may be . *Previous experience in manufacturing engineering roles, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry. * Experience with Micro-electronics, especially RF (radio frequency) Electronics manufacturing/assembly, is highly desirable. *Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies, including CNC machining, additive manufacturing, assembly, and testing. *Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as
AS9100, ITAR, and NADCAP . *Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for process development and optimization. *Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. *Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and interpret complex data. * Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. * Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and reliability. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
