HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Ensure Light Truck (LT) 4x4 product designs are fully considering consumer expectations, regulatory requirements and manufacturing needs (e.g. processing / manufacturability). Global expert on product design and manufacturability for LT4x4 products.
Overall global expert on product design and manufacturability for LT4x4 products
Initiate and lead projects to create or update processes & tools (including virtual development) to ensure manufacturability of product designs, including Design For Manufacturing (DFM) guidelines
Core member of LT Competence Center
Collect segment requirements globally (long term requirements and trends for competitive performance)
Initiates benchmarking of relevant competitors in alignment with key stakeholders
Analysis of competitor solutions for performance and producibility
Collects feedback from platform, technology, and compound owners and derive segment gaps
Review team member in LT4x4 development projects globally
Leads/coordinates activities to develop and validate concepts
Initiates technology projects to ensure market competitiveness in performance & manufacturability
Qualifications: Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
7+ years of professional experience in automotive or tire industry.
Experience in R&D, product development, and manufacturing for LT4x4 products.
18+ months people or project leadership experience
Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
Worked in international teams for 3 years
