As the Technical Consultant, you have a high proficiency in translating business problems into solutions leveraging the out of the box configuration capabilities of Nue as well as technical solutions based on Nue APIs, pricing plugins, and other customized solutions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in implementing and integrating software solutions, ideally in Billing, CRM or ERP domains. You will serve as the primary/sole technical consultant for small projects and less complex mid-size projects and may take on larger, more complex engagements as experience grows.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the customer technical design and implementation with the Professional Services team.
  • Provide deep technical expertise on integration, configuration and customization of the Nue platform.
  • Translate business problems into technical solutions using Nue capabilities and APIs.
  • Configure Nue to support use cases, identify areas of complexity, and propose technical solutions.
  • Guide customers on Nue API usage, integration best practices, and data import, including analytics support.
  • Own and drive technical customer implementations from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with engineering to drive product solutions and with Solution Architects to ensure proper SDLC application and timely completion.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in implementing and integrating software solutions, ideally in Billing, CRM or ERP domains.
  • Previous consulting experience implementing software solutions is a plus.
  • Strong Salesforce administration and Apex experience.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented technologies.
  • Strong PL/SQL skills.
  • Experience in REST APIs and web services.
  • Experience using an integration and automation platform like Tray.io.
  • Experience in Order-To-Cash (O2C), Accounts Receivable (AR), and/or General Ledger (GL) is a plus.
  • Ability to scope, plan and estimate level of effort with appropriate risk assessment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to different technical levels of the audience.
  • Ability to work with global teams and demonstrate customer empathy.
  • Positive attitude, calm under pressure, and eagerness to continuously learn.
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Compensation

The compensation band for this role is $120,000–$150,000 USD annually for candidates based in the United States and $115,000-$145,000 CAD annually for candidates based in Canada. Final compensation will depend on skills, experience, and internal pay equity. Slight variation by location reflects market conditions.
