As the
Assistant Clinical Director , you will provide critical clinical oversight, leadership, and mentorship to ensure that services are person-centered, evidence-based, and fully compliant with all regulatory standards. You will be actively involved in conducting
Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) , designing and reviewing
behavior support plans , and implementing
Positive Behavior Support (PBS)
strategies that promote meaningful outcomes for individuals. Beyond direct clinical work, you will play a vital leadership role in guiding and training staff, fostering professional growth within the team, and ensuring consistency in the delivery of behavioral support across programs.
This position offers the opportunity to impact care delivery on multiple levels - from directly shaping individualized interventions to influencing program development and organizational quality initiatives. The Assistant Clinical Director will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, families, and external partners, ensuring that every individual's care plan is coordinated and effective. Functional Behavioural Assessments (FBAs)
and analyse behavioural data to inform care and treatment strategies.
• Develop, review, and revise
behavior support plans
that are evidence-based and person-centred.
• Provide training and ongoing support to direct support staff on intervention strategies, documentation, and best practices.
• Supervise, mentor, and guide behavior support team members to ensure consistent and effective care delivery.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including case managers, families, and healthcare professionals, to support individuals' care goals.
• Assist in
program development, quality assurance, and compliance monitoring
to uphold clinical and organizational standards.
Candidate requirements
Required:
• Current licensure/certification as one of the following:
o Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst ( LABA )
o Board Certified Behavior Analyst ( BCBA )
o Licensed Psychologist,
LMHC ,
LICSW , or Master's level
SLP
• 1+ years of experience conducting
FBAs
and developing
behavior plans .
• Strong knowledge of
behavior analytic principles
and
data-driven interventions .
• Proficiency in
Positive Behavior Support (PBS)
principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with clinical documentation and behavior data tracking.
Prefered:
• Master's degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field.
• Supervisory or leadership experience in clinical or behavioral settings.
• Experience working with individuals with
Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) .
• Background in day habilitation, group homes, or community-based support settings.
