Join Our Team as a Vehicle Operations Specialist!
We are seeking a dedicated Vehicle Operations Specialist to ensure the smooth organization and movement of vehicles in our lot. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and maintain the placement of vehicles in designated zones according to standards set by lot operations leadership.
Utilize information from Supervisors and Lot Operations dashboards daily to make effective move decisions.
Continuously improve safety and efficiency in vehicle movement in assigned zones.
Safely move and stage vehicles to their appropriate destinations to optimize transport efficiency.
Ensure vehicles are operable; collaborate with service and tow teams for any inoperable vehicles.
Label vehicles accurately with sale and routing labels to streamline transport processes.
Communicate effectively with crew leaders and managers regarding inventory levels and movement priorities.
Champion company values, ensuring a respectful environment for all employees.
Adhere to all company policies related to employee and customer conduct.
Actively follow and promote safety and health procedures in the workplace.
Perform additional duties as assigned, with potential for overtime based on business needs.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
6 months of auction or driving experience is preferred.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
Basic mechanical knowledge for identifying issues such as flat tires or low gas.
Understanding of lot operations and layout is preferred.
Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift 1-15 pounds.
Ability to work effectively in various weather conditions and moderate noise levels.
The compensation for this role is a competitive hourly wage ranging from $13.37 to $20.00, based on location and the candidate's experience. Additional compensation opportunities may include commission or incentive programs.
