Your Responsibilities as a CDL-A Delivery Driver: Conduct pre/post-trip inspections on the tractor-trailer and submit a DOT inspection report highlighting its condition. Verify the accuracy of the bill of lading and secure the keys during off-hour deliveries. Safely drive the tractor-trailer to its destination while applying your knowledge of commercial driving regulations and maneuvering skills. Maintain a driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any exceptions. Unload the trailer and deliver products directly to customer premises. Complete other related duties as assigned. What Qualifications Do You Bring? At least 21 years of age. Current and valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A). Minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience. Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications. The ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and operational standards.
