Overview
We are seeking a driven Talent Acquisition Expert to join Life Care Centers of America. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers, all while ensuring a positive candidate experience. You will build relationships with passive candidates, universities, technical schools, and industry groups to support our recruiting and talent initiatives while complying with applicable laws and Life Care standards.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Two or more years of experience recruiting in the healthcare sector, preferably in skilled nursing or clinical sourcing
Two or more years of sourcing experience using platforms like Indeed or LinkedIn Recruiter
Preferred certifications: Recruiter (PRC, CIR, CSSR, CDR, CSMR, etc.) and HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP)
Specific Requirements
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Confident in presentation skills for individuals and groups
High-energy individual motivated to succeed with a competitive spirit
Intermediate to advanced search and sourcing skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Skilled with business devices (e.g., laptops, mobile devices, tablets)
Ability to make independent decisions when necessary
Knowledgeable of recruitment practices, laws, and regulations in the post-acute care sector
Adept at implementing and interpreting recruitment policies and procedures
Demonstrated ability to maintain professional relationships
Commitment to confidentiality of proprietary information
Understanding of and adherence to company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
Integrity and professionalism in accordance with Life Care's Code of Conduct
Essential Functions
Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned positions using the applicant tracking system (ATS), including posting requisitions, managing candidate workflows, scheduling interviews, and verifying employment eligibility
Enhance candidate experience by maintaining communication through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings as needed
Utilize effective sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates and build talent pipelines
Network professionally for future talent acquisition
Connect with external job boards and service providers for efficient recruitment
Coach hiring managers on screening and selection techniques
Ensure timely candidate feedback to foster a positive experience
Calculate recruitment metrics and analyze activity records to measure ROI
Assist with targeted recruitment strategies as needed (e.g., direct mailings, college recruitment, advertising)
Represent Life Care Centers of America professionally at job fairs and hiring events
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude
Assist in patient evacuations when necessary
Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality
Engage productively within an interdisciplinary team
Perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving items during work hours
Communicate effectively in English
