Middle School Principal:

Full-time, 12-month position available for the 2025-2026 school year.

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience and Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) certification. Master's Degree. Valid Secondary or K-12 Principal certification. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Establish and maintain a positive and effective learning environment. Plan, organize, and oversee the implementation of all school activities. Keep the administration informed of school activities, challenges, and progress. Provide recommendations regarding school administration and instructional programs. Supervise the maintenance of all required building records and reports. Oversee the preparation of reports, records, lists, and other necessary documentation related to school administration. Collaborate with central administrative staff on issues impacting the school, such as transportation and special services. Inform the superintendent of both routine and unusual events or concerns affecting the school. Interpret and enforce district policies and administrative regulations. Maintain active and positive relationships with students and parents. Manage school schedules to ensure efficient instruction and school operations. Supervise the school's educational programs. Lead the development, evaluation, and monitoring of instructional programs to ensure they meet student needs. Develop class schedules in accordance with district guidelines to support student success.

Essential qualifications include: Proven leadership in curriculum development, instructional practices, technology integration, and teacher supervision. Pennsylvania administrative certification. Two or more years of principal experience. Middle school classroom experience and a strong understanding of middle-level education. Demonstrated ability to successfully lead individuals and initiatives that improve student achievement. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others.
