ABOUT THE ROLE
Join Amrize US as a full-time Aggregate Plant Maintenance Technician. We have openings for both day and night shifts, with a shift differential for the night shift (6:00 pm - 6:00 am). Your role is essential to maintaining a safe and efficient plant environment, working seamlessly as part of a team. You will play a key role in the maintenance and production operations of the quarry.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Provide training and coaching to fellow employees when necessary.
Maintain plant equipment to ensure it is always ready for operation.
Promptly complete work orders, including installation, repair, and fabrication of metal materials while addressing any immediate safety concerns.
Conduct inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on plant equipment to meet production goals.
Commit to promoting a culture of safety by adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies.
Perform additional duties as needed or assigned.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required Education:
High School diploma/GED Maintenance Experience:
A minimum of 3-5 years of mining site maintenance experience. Skills:
Strong welding and mechanical repair skills are essential, along with knowledge of conveyor belts, screens, and crushers. Basic computer skills. Effective problem-solving and analysis skills. Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor in high-pressure situations. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Organizational skills with attention to detail. Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. Additional Requirements: Adhere to safety protocols and utilize Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
